一、专家介绍(Scholar introduction)

Meththika Vithanage,斯里兰卡斯里贾亚瓦德纳普拉大学生态圈复原力研究中心的创始主任。澳大利亚西澳大利亚大学和印度石油工程研究大学的兼职教授。第三世界科学院青年院士。Meththika Vithanage教授被认为是斯里兰卡环境科学领域的顶尖科学家。全球被引次数前2%科学家。长期从事有毒金属、抗生素、农用化学品、微塑料和废弃生物质转化的环境修复领域的研究,发表论文400余篇,出版专著8部和60多个书籍章节,其论文被引用次数已超过28000次,H指数为86。Professor Meththika Vithanage is the founding director of the Ecosphere Resilience Research Center at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka. She is a part-time professor at the University of Western Australia and the Indian Institute of Petroleum and Energy. She is also a Young Fellow of the Third World Academy of Sciences. Professor Vithanage is considered one of the top scientists in the field of environmental science in Sri Lanka and is among the top 2% scientists globally. Her research focuses on environmental remediation, particularly in the areas of toxic metals, antibiotics, agrochemicals, microplastics, and the conversion of waste biomass. She has published over 400 papers, authored 8 monographs, and contributed to more than 60 book chapters. Her papers have been cited over 28,000 times, with an H-index of 86.
